Jesse Dukes

Jesse Dukes is an audio producer for WBEZ Chicago’s Curious City. He works with contributors as well as reporting stories for the project. Before coming to WBEZ, Jesse was an independent writer and radio producer based in Virginia. Working as a public radio producer since 2005, he has produced stories for PRI's Studio 360, NPR's Day to Day and Weekend Edition and other national and regional public radio programs. He has reported from Cairo, Tanzania and Luxembourg. He worked for VFH Radio's With Good Reason for four years and was a frequent multimedia contributor to the Virginia Quarterly Review. He worked with the public radio program Backstory and occasionally led student trips to Tanzania for the University of Virginia as well as hiking, kayaking, and canoeing trips in Maine.
